Considering the 08's will be a past model by then I think there's real good chance of that happening, if it happens and the dealer can get me one like I want..... I'm in.

^If I ever think about getting one, that's exactly what I'm waiting for.

The reduced $1k Rebate currently offered on the SS/T really killed it for me.

Well, my dealer was negotiating with GM to get the 0%. I'm supposed to find out tomorrow if they can work it out, but now the car is no longer in inventory on the website. I'm going to be pissed if the sold my car after all this. I'm tempted to go run by the dealer quick to check.

Friendly Chev in Fridley. If you have some sort of connection, please don't go talking to them about it.

I had to go to the grocery store, so I ran by there on my way. The car isn't where it's been the last two times I've been there. They said they were going to hold it for me, so they either hid it somewhere on the lot or sold it.

Grrrr.

The black one? They had the Sport Red Tint one 2 weeks ago that we got, and we knew they were getting a black one in with the high rise spoiler and sunroof

Gustavo was the salesmans name we purchased ours from.

So you lost the 0% financing you got with Friendly, but they worked it out for you afterwards? If they called you on Thursday, that was the day I told them that the TC isn't covered under the 0%.

What options are on yours? I'd love to walk in and say I want the same price you got.

That wont happen, the customers that purchased on June 3rd, the GM regional manager working on OK'ing the 0% for 60M.

This is a ring around deal. But the best deal you will get there is about $400 off MSRP and the GM $1,000 rebate, or 5.9%.... That is it.... They will not offer the 0% 60M any more as they KNOW it is not included, nor that large discount as they were going to loose money on it. They tried to do what they could to make the situation right with us. But they wont make the mistake again.... So dont go in their expecting that, as it wont happen....

See when we purchased, GM did not document on their sales sheets the SS/TC is not included.... Now that their is an updated sheet they know. However being we already purchased and signed, they must offer it.

You are not the one who told them about it, they knew about it before you went it.... They received a letter from GM before Thursday.

I can dream can't I? I've been in the restaurant business for eight years. If we screw up, we fix it and throw in something extra so you're happy. That's just the mentaility I have. They offered the 0%, I asked them to confirm it, they said they did, then GM said no when they actually asked for the financing. Then on top of that, they may have sold the car they were holding for me.

I know there's a big different between a $40 meal and a $20000 car, but you have to look at if it's worth the bad PR they'll get from me telling my story to people.

I always think big corporations will give a rat's ass that they pissed me off and I'm gonna tell all my friends. But they never care. I just think I matter to them...
