increasing boost?

increasing boost?

ok i have a 2.2 turbo. has the k04 on it for now. i need the boost to be at 25 psi. i hit 15 psi right now. how do i go about increasing? i have a turbo xs controller but seems not to work. how should i run my vac lines? right now its wastegate to controller, controller to turbo. intake mani. to bov and boost gauge.

just go to an army surplus store and but a grenade.. it's cheaper

if you really want to do this.. hope your motor is well built..

25 is pushing the k04 a bit out of its limit, with that being said it sounds like you have your boost controller backwards. Check that first

Odd thing is my stock car totally spikes 25psi. I'd say it's safe, but the tune at the end of the day aims for 20, which is optimal!

i have a built engine with forged internals. james is who is tuning me. ill check the controller out.

It's a gen2 ecotec block with forged rods and pistons. It should be fine

thank you josh lol. did a boost leak test at work and same thing its leaking from the controller and the evap box? the lil black box on the side of the head by the fuse box.. ugh
