Installed an AutoMeter Cobalt oil pressure gauge and haven't decided where I want it. So, I put it in the little storage drawer. I teed off the stock oil pressure safety switch location with a fitting from Racetronix and used a 3ft Glowshift remote sender line. I killed a couple oil pressure senders in my M3 years ago until I ran a line to remote mount the sender. Had to pull the starter to install the fitting, but that's easy. The worst part is getting a safe route for the wires around the pedals. I spent a lot of time making sure nothing touched moving parts. The wires are in plastic split loom sheathing, but I don't want any parts rubbing. That 68PSI reading is a cold start. It showed at 29 when warmed up at idle tonight, and hits 100 when revved.
For reference, these are the parts
