I just got the intake on. It does sound pretty good. Even compaired to my dejon sri I used to have. I did also log it and my ltft were 0 to -.8 and stft were +3 to -3 before and now ltft are +2.3 and stft are -5 to +10 on a 15 min cruise.

Well I haven't went WOT yet. It sounds insaine tho, like a bov. I hope once I get the maf screen it will tune up good. It is not tuned for it yet. Also sitting at idle it is basically 0 0 st and ltft's. But I think that's do to the tune I have to begin with.

I dont think that it matters on these cars do to the built in wide band I still run .88. The only thing I get is knock if the trims are out of wack. And I dont mean out of wack where they are now I mean bad out of wack.

I can tell you it dont hit the hood as far as I can tell. I looked under the hood for as long as I could while closing and it looks as if there is a good gap in there still.

Damn that sounds good. Depending on long term (like a week from now) fuel trims I'll probably be making a purchase lol. Still debating on whether or not to wait on Vararam

^x2

The tricky thing about Vararam is that you don't know what kind of gains you're really getting because the gains with ram-air come when you're moving and not still on a dyno.

Also, depending on where the stick the MAF and how they shape the intake tract, the fuel trims may get wierd at different speeds due to changes in the aerodynamics within the intake tract at the different wind speeds/pressures. Maybe I'm making more out of it than there is and it wouldn't be much different than any other intake, but it just seems like it's something they would need to think about when designing it. Hope it comes out soon. I'd like to see how it stacks up to this one.
