Sorry, I should clear that up. K&N did not merge with AEM as a whole. They just bought out AEM's intake division about a year ago. It was in the news. Also, when I returned the AEM intake the adress I shipped to was K&N Engineering in California.

The MAF is really close to the filter like the AEM, almost a certainty that it will drive the MAF nuts. At that price the Hahn looks like a bargain lol, I'll probably end up getting one anyway to see how it runs lol!

We'll be running test when we get it. We'll get some good data, the powertrain in my SS/TC is stock aside from mounts. My down pipe was too short so it hasn't been installed yet!

I'll post as soon as I get the info!

whatever you do, don't talk bad about the admin, great way to get a quick exit ... however, other vendors have had this exact situation with having a hard time getting vendor status

Not talking bad about them at all.... I just need to know where to send the check! LOL! I haven't posted much here because I didn't want to ruffle any feathers but I've waited forever! I figured posting a special would get some attention...

Thanks for the heads up though!!!!!

so we're talking a few weeks before any of our tuners on here get their hands on one to test the stft's and ltft's... hmm. damn, i cant wait to see the trims, however... the advertised hp gains are rather misleading to someone purchasing this that doesnt "know" about the learn down feature on a stock tune.

Look at the TQ though. From an intake, 24lbs? All across the board, thats not bad at all. That's LS1 lid territory and that was arguably the most restrictive intakes (had flow dissruptors, and baffles).

Bah you ninja edited. And on an Intake, they don't learn down. Its still readible increased air flow. That increased air flow has to be matched with fuel.

Why?

We are the same price, and it still comes from K&N directly to you... But you are supporting a vendor to make THIS stite possible...

I can tell you right now they are going to be off...I mean mine were off stock...and even more so when I added a K&N filter. It's a matter of how tunable and how consistent that this intake is going to be...not how much the trims are skewed when you put it on....because they will be skewed I can assure you that.

i'd edit your post so you don't seem so whiney.

Next your gonna say you are broke and can't put food on the table.

Why go through a broker when you can get it from the source?
