K&N Intake for SS/TC
I sure have! I've been wanting to pair that hood with a short ram intake for some time now. It takes the intake temp shortcomings of a SRI and not only improves it, but may make it better than a CAI. The key would be that you'd have to be moving, which helps with IC and SRI heatsoak anyway.
Luckily though, I've found that when in motion the K&N SRI intake temps are actually quite reasonable, and in some cases lower than stock (I guess due to the free air that comes in through the grill).

p.S. > Absolutely no issues with this intake so far. My LTFTs and STFTs are perfect. There is definately something to rotating the filter that changes the fuel trims. its wierd but its there. The only time I ever see the fuel trims spike up or down to a +/-20.0 is when I just start to gently accelerate or let off the gas ever so slightly. Then in quickly corrects itself to a -1.5 to 0.7 after a second. This intake is good. end.

lol, I'll be right back, Im gonna go outside take a photo with my Droid incredible upload it to Facebook and see if I can upload it to on here.
Okay, no idea how to get the picture on here via phone. BUT, my filter is almost at the 12:00 position. alittle bias towards the 11:00 position. I would say its 11:55 position. Look at the hour hand of a clock when its 11:55, thats where the metal strip on the filter lies.

Mine came today, but I can't put go pick it up until tomorrow since I got off work late. Will be installing tomorrow after work instead of going to the street legals
Any pics of this filter position before I stuff it on there? I'll check back tomorrow before I leave to my buddy's where an SRI install and a few beers await

lol i think its funny listening to some of the installations. unplugging battery n priming engine n ****. I leave my car in the accesory position, put on a good cd. swap intakes like iv done 100x. crank car, drive. LMAO. always worked for me. from dejon intake on n off like 20x, to stock airbox, to stock airbox with airbox mod, n now on to Hahn intake
Same here dude and that goes for any install I've done haha
and they make it seem like the filter position is the end of the world. It's pretty common sense which way the filter should face

I would say its good practice if nothing else.
I just installed the intake today, and let me say, it was the easiest intake I've ever installed on any car. Awesome fit and finish. I guess I have an early 09 because the supplied brackets fit fine (it has the two bolts on the valve cover). My stft's are ok (-3 to 4 max) most of the time with an ocassional random spike to 10. My ltft's are 3.1, when they were -1. I haven't put enough mileage on it to truly see, but I'm going to log a long ride tonight, so I should have some good data. My previous setup was the airbox mod with the AEM tube and K&N drop in, BYT tuned. The fuel trims were perfect with that setup. It probably just needs a little more tweaking.

sometimes I believe half the people who put aftermarket intakes on, forget the to reset the battery to make the PCM learn the new intake, and let the car idle for 3 minutes. It says it in every manual.
Earl... you are making yourself not look very smart...
I can reset the fuel trims too... that only lasts for a short time... it will relearn itself to the new trims... which will still be off whether or not you reset the battery!

I am gonna work on eliminating mine, possibly spring upgrade on the stock BPV.
I have the dejon spring in, and thats the sound the intake makes, it didnt sound like fluttering with thte hahn. In person it sounds more like a turkey. My iphone doesnt have the best sound recording
