Just to give you guys some more interesting info. Got my car back from the shop fixed and with my stock air box. I've been monitoring the fuel trims.... the are hovering at -7.0 and at WOT the go to +5.0. The Sri gets better fuel trim then stock, lol.

I called over at modern performance today, and they told me they had them in-stock...hopefully they do since I put my name down for one and the price was right...

I never got a "shipped" email, though... Just a "order written"

That's funny because I asked them several months ago about the K&N SRI and they basically told me they weren't going to carry them. I guess word got around about how popular the intake had become. lol

Mine came with both, but I don't know what batch mine was. Ordered it from Modern Performance last week.

Pull the tab clip out first (like a clip thing) then you can push down on the other tab to release the maf clip.

Sweet, thanks guys I appreciate it. I noticed too when I was disconnecting the negative battery cable that there's some kind of white gel or something on the connection, just wondering if this is normal.

Come on buddy, you got the same card as everyone that purchased the K&N SRI. I even comfirmed it all with a K&N Rep yesterday, you DO NOT need a tune and they will handle things with the dealer if they deny a warranty based repaired because of the intake. Don't let that thread scare you into not modding your Turbalt, you'll be safe with that intake, I never heard anybody having any sorts of problems yet which is a solid result. I will give you some advice though, if you get aftermarket headlights, MAKE SURE YOU TUNE FOR THEM, or else when you signal left, your high beams will come on!!!!!

Aww now come on he is just trying to help. I'm sure he has some basis on it but he is scaring people which sucks. You will always get more perfomance from doing piggybacking upgrades like a tune with a filter kit. This isn't like back in the day with carbs (my specialty). Computers are testy when you change them.

Thats cool about K&N doing that. I didn't know any company did that. One more thing... Don't forget to change the blinker fluid when you get new headlights housing as the front blinkers are in it.
