I put the thick plastic funnel in one end and hammered it back into a circle shape!

 

got mine installed today. running 100% stock everything else, including stock tune.

How much boost are people getting with the intake? I'm peeking at 22-23psi and then dropping to 20 at about 5000rpm. never got above 20 before intake.

I ordered from them as well. I emailed them and got this response:

"They expect these to be available sometime between 8/5 and 8/13. They are literally hand making these 1 by 1 because of the tube design. I have plenty on order to fill open orders."

So looks like more waiting...

That suck! We dont have anything other than 91 oct that is redily available. No smog though..

 

they put more ethanol in their gas I think than other states, and the smog in LA is just nasty. I found 91 non oxy gas near my house so I go there

 

Good news on that one! I am dissapointed in my state in some aspects. Has alot of natural gas and oil. Do we have the 93 oct?? No.. and only minimal E85 for that matter. lol.. do what you can with what you got.

I just emailed the guy and told him if he doesnt give me a definate answer as to when I will receive the intake I want to cancel my order the price is good but Id rather spend $100 more and actually get it before it snows!!! I also got the whole making it one at a time story it seems fishy but at the same time I worked for Flo Pro exhaust and when we made Cascar race series mufflers it was 2 guys in the back of the plant building them one at a time so maybe because of the low production levels its true?? I hope like hell this doesnt turn into a giant **** around trying to get my money back now or my intake...

i've been emailing the guy on ebay once a week about the status of them and he didnt reply this week... last time i talked to him he said all orders from late june to early july had been shipped... mine was ordered on july 13th so im hoping i get in under this group... but it looks like a big no

I installed mine last night, sounds amazing, I love it! I'm amazed at how even more responsive the car is to such little throttle input!! How long does it usually take until the car fully learns the new intake?

 

idk depends on how many key turns aka starts and distance driven. but with in a week of driving (very little driving) mine seemed to ease into it. pull the battery negative for a minute and put it back on.
