LNF Injectors

I've been searching on here all morning and haven't came up with anything, so I figured I'd just ask...
What size are the stock fuel injectors?

They aren't a standard flow rating like you would find on a "lower pressure" port injected engine. They are a Bosch injector with a flow rate of 20cc/min @ 1450psi

I'm looking to upgrade my injectors, but I don't know what size to go up to.. I don't want a whole lot bigger than stock, so I was wondering how big I should go.. Would 725cc be a lot bigger than stock, or just a little bigger?

You can't upgrade the LNF injectors, the DI injectors must be used with this engine, there are no aftermarket options.

Those are not a di injector.... No beans on those

Like everyone else has said, there is no injector or hpfp upgrade as of yet. Why do you think you need larger injectors just out of curiosity?

Trying to do simple mods to get more power.. I'm not wanting to do any major mods just in case I ever want to sell my car so that I can go back to stock with everything and sell the parts

They're mislabeled, they're for non-lnf's. And with your current mods i don't see how you can need bigger injectors.

Those don't even look like they would fit, this is what stock LNF injectors look like

Also, you will not run out of injector on the stock turbo. If you start running out of fuel (full e85) zzp cams will help

I honestly wouldn't really worry about an injector upgrade unless you plan on a serious build. Even then, there are work arounds for the stock fueling limitations anyways. There are guys making PLENTY of power with the stock injectors plus a 5th injector setup.

If you do happen to find a nice 138+bar rated injector that will fit our engines then by all means let us know though!

Hi guys, we make high flow rate DI injectors for GM Ecotec applications, and distribute them directly through ZZPerformance. Feel free to contact them about a set!

We would prefer to hear from you about their flow rates and pricing as well as what percentage of flow will be gained over stock.

Yep, and they are supposed to be working on a hpfp upgrade also. Maybe scythe snake can elaborate further.

Injector flow curves

Sorry guys, we have been a bit busy as of late. We will prepare a flow diagram with the LNF, LHU and LTG injectors (Nostrum & Stock) so that you can see the flow rate comparison. Give us a few weeks because GM LT has been eating-up all our flow bench time.

One problem we found last year, is that there is no ability to drive the drive current on the LNF platform. This is a big problem for our LNF high flow injector, and is the main reason we stopped build on that part number. Without being able to increase the drive current to accommodate the increased solenoid gap in our Nostrum injectors, there can be issues with opening speed at low load and also flow restriction at high pressure (high load) because of the increased hydraulic force acting on the back of the pintle at the higher pressure, which require us to drive a higher current with the big solenoid gap. This is not an issue with LHU and LTG, since HP Tuners has a great tool today for injector drive command. We are working on preparing HP Tuner files for LHU and LTG, and hope to add this to our website when we launch the sets / kits (with pumps) later this year. But for LNF, only the guys with stand-alone controllers would be able to run our high flow K-DI injectors, and we don't have many takers.

Stay tuned for the flow charts
