Went to the dealer to order an 08 SS/TC.

They claim they cannot order anymore and the only option is the 09. Not a terrible situation, I'm down for an '09 (500 down to be precise; which I think is ridiculous considering they don't have the prices yet!).

I have the current list of Standard Items and Options I can post if anyone is interested. New for 09 was the Performance Display to replace the A-pillar gage. USB Radio. Bluetooth and no spare tire.

 

so lets hope a cd gets stuck in my deck ,like the past 3 GM vehicles owned so they will replace it with the newer one with usb input more than likly it will haha

good luck with the 09. i couldn't wait any longer than i have now + the interest for them will be insane!

because its at the beginning of the model year so your interest rates will be around 6% which is high compared to my 1.9%

The whole spare tire thing is really confusing, if the sealant is standard why is the sealant and option as well, also, why would anyone want that unless they really wanted to shed 50 pounds off the curb weight.

I wish I knew what the performance gage looked like, that way I knew whether I wanted to pay for it or not.

Also, wasn't there a rumoured GPS system coming. Or was that a hoax?
