Yes, the G85 option was there for the TC. Check the tag in the trunk closely. If its not on the tag, then it did not come from the factory with it.

It was a mistake for GM not to make it a manditory option like they did with the sunroof in 2010......screw the roof , a lot of people buy these cars and later learn about the lsd option after it's too late.

I would have done the same back in 06 with my SS/SC but I like the Recaro seats so much better than the standard seat that I had to have them ....so lucked out with LSD.

I can't see it in the tag of my trunk. But the dealer sticker says I have it, ands also when the car is on jacks and I spin the front tire while its in gear, the other spins the opposate way.

When ever i was pulling VIN's with GMVIS there was always at disclaimer that the RPO sticker in the trunk trumps any info found threw Dealerworld .

Seeing as LSD is a charged option that you paid for on the sticker ..... I would look at the tranny tag to make sure ..... you might have some recourse with the dealership if they charged you for an option that isn't on the car.

Anyone with a 2010 isn't in the database yet. Just spin the tires when its on jack stands. Lol. If they spin opposate ways, you have lsd. The tires spinning opposate like that is a characteristic of torsion style lsd's.

Guess I didn't look hard enough. I just now spotted G85 on the sticker in the trunk. Lol.

Haha..... all those numbers and letters blend into one at times. LSD is a great option ...... I wonder how many people passed on cars just because it wasnt on the car. I know I looked at 5 or 6 different TC's before I found one with LSD .

just an FYI, spinning one tire and having the other rotate the opposite way doesnt automatically mean there is a LSD in the axle. open diffs will do this too

This guy. I wanted an imperial blue metallic, black seats, rpd, and lsd. I found one with all of those EXCEPT the lsd. had to pass on the car.

Then test drove 2 sedans with lsd's but obviously no rpd. Passed, and got my 09 loaded black/grey. Had I known at the time that the sedans were so damn rare, I would of bought it, and tried to add the RPD later (A buddy of mine who is local has a fully workin rpd in his sedan) and a backseat would of been nice, but live and learn.
