Maf not reading

Hi, recently change my maf sensor and my connector. Its a 09 LNF, Injen CAI, zzp intercooler, zzp pcm.
The issue is that my new maf do not read anything, I checked for bad wire or smething and I haven’t noticed anything. Grounds are good. I looked for the schematic and I hooked it up by the schematic. If anybody knows the pin with the colors of the original schematics and also the voltage I should have. The car runs fine when I drive it normally, WOT is where it runs like a piece of crap. The boost jump between 23 and drop to 15-16. I got P0100, P0102, P0103 and something about the intake temp. I have an OBD2 wich I can read live data, my intake temp is at -40 C and the maf read 86.7 lb/min. Sure it is false. If anybody experience this or can give me more info about this. Thanks a lot. Cobalt SS 2009 LNF.

Sounds like an error was made when changing the connector. Do you have the old MAF to compare with? How did you change the connector? Repin, solder, or cut and splice?

I cut and splice with thermal sheats, I used a schematic that I found here since the new connector do not have the same colors. Another weird thing is I tried to play and I tried a lot of combinations and I can have the lb/mins but no temps or I can get the temps but no lb/mins. I can only have 1 data on 2.

Do you still have the old plug? Simple check: orient them the same way, look at the old plug wire colors, and verify that those wire colors are going to the same pins on the new connector.

Sounds like you're down to two options then: a bad sensor or a problem with your splicing. Do you still have your old MAF to test out? I assume it had problems, but maybe the temperature still works.

Or go to a Pick-n-Pull junk yard and grab a couple to try out. Our MAF sensors were used in a ton of other vehicles.

Check the "Vehicle Fit" tab: https://www.1aauto.com/air-flow-mete...00077?f=702667

I had some varoius and weird codes popping up for about two weeks that finally settled in to a consistent maf code (p010X, can't remember which one exactly, but means no maf signal).

After already throwing a new maf on during all the weird codes, I though I better ohm out the wires. Turns out the signal wire for the maf was not making it back to the ecu (yellow wire I am pretty sure that is, but check the electrical diagrams to be sure).

There is a TSB for strained maf harness near the sensor so I went back about 8 inches from the maf connector and scraped back the insulation so I could check from there to the pin on the sensor. Sure enough it was bad. From that same spot to the ecu did have a connection.

So felt along the wire and could actually feel a spot just about 1 inch away from the connector that was necked down. I scraped insulation away to find the conductor strands pulled apart and broken. I cut back and spliced (soldered) in some fresh wire and all problems went away.

With a tsb for this it is worth checming wiring there near the connector. The harness looks fine from the outside but the wires get pulled inside it, as the harness was really designed too short.

And before it broke cometely the poor connection was throwing codes for map, maf, and evep for weeks leading up to this.
