New Chevy HHR TURBO SECRET INFO! DEALER INFO!!!
#26
Oh man when the Cobalt gets that engine it is going to be sick. Assuming they can keep the next gen at or below the current 2900 lbs. I'd like to try out that "lift shift" tranny too. Anybody driven one yet?
edit: nevermind, just reread the part about not being at dealers until Jan '07
And what's up w/ $25K starting price? How much is a loaded LTZ HHR?

stock boost is set around 20psi, the factory turbo is maxxed out from the start, so dont even think about uping the boost. im sure opening up airflow will help alot , but i think a turbo upgrade would be a good starting point. the stock turbo is tiny and just dosnt flow.
The redline and gxp run low 14s high 13s and trap high 90s , i wouldnt say the cobalt will be faster..maybe as fast...even with it being lighter and the gearing being better, traction is gonna be a huge problem.

even if you can drive , you still have the laws of physics working agisnt you. lets say you have a pro driver in both cars, the fwd car will never be able to pull as good of a 60ft as the rwd car, both stock and on factory tires.
