yeah im not sure who had the car. i pm'd cardelino18 because he did have a black one with a larger turbo, not sure tho. whoever it was is a pro at taking car of a care because i have looked for 2 days and have yet to find a single scratch in the interior or exterior

it has:
custom charge pipes and custom intake pipe w/ k&n drop in
turboxs bov recirc'd to intake
ais meth injection
a/f gauge
and tune boostin and holding 24 psi
possibly aftermarket intercooler
catless downpipe
eibach sportlines
ottp 1" rear sway

i have never been in a car this fast in my life so im really enjoying it right now. i mean the thing has nitto nt05 in the front and it spins in 4th @ 100. really is a blast to drive!

my only concern is how safe the tune is and if the turbo is spooling ok. there isnt any surge from what i can see and everything seems very very well done and well taken care of but i dont wanna boost too much if its a crappy tune...

pictures will be up when i have time to take them! proud to be kind of an old timer here at css.net when i had my ls and looking to learn alot from you guys while i mod away!
If you are boosting at 24psi, I would say that your engine is sure safe. That is actually what everybody tune it up to stay safe as far as reliability

That looks like some of the snyapse stage 3 kit. I had it on my car. But not the MBC. I never spun in 3rd with 26psi but with a little rain and no tire left no problem spinning them.

After I was done tuning the car at 24 psi it would start to walk sideways in 3rd at about 75-80 MPH which I have to say made me kinda nervous. The car has a lot of torque steer especially above 4K when the turbo really wheels up. It was making 20psi by 3800 RPMs and 24 psi by about 4200 RPMs. IIRC synapse used the largest exhaust housing on the GT28R which was not helping spool at all. Not sure if his is a 2871 or a 2876. It was flowing 41-42 lbs/min MAF and 35 lbs/min VE up top. Boost held 24psi all the way to the 7K redline.

On paper, the Synapse kit is still my favorite. Garret GT BB turbo (oil and water cooled, because some people care), and an equal length tubular manifold.

I know on my 28 it would hold 26 till 7k also but if i recall right i was hitting 26 at around 4. But not remebering well because i enjoying the new turbo more. The 28 flows about 36 lbs/min, well that is what vince is seeing on the bnr 2871. but yeah torque steer was a pain up top for sure.

I could not get the MBC to allow more than 24 psi otherwise I would have tried 26 and 28 psi to see what I could get out of it.

There is a slight lag time but honestly if he revs to 7K in 2nd and shifts to 3rd it starts pulling almost as soon as my stock turbo. We never did any first gear stuff really because loads are low and even so wheel spein would have been a problem even at approx 50% power in 1st.
