New to this. Opinions on exhaust setups.

I'm new here and new to forums period. Just bought my cobalt recently and have a few mods but I'm too the point where I'm looking for exhaust. What is the best way to go? And with what companies? Thanks

to*** the point. Sorry, I'm weird about my own grammar.

The one with the muffler sounded pretty good also. You think I'd have problems in a town with a noise ordinance with no muffler?

downpipe through them also? I was liking treadstone, I've heard awesome things about treadstone...except I don't like the slip fit exhaust! Haha

Thanks for the support. I think I have decided I am going to go with mpx.
Just one question. I think I will go with the catted downpipe and exhaust without muffler, my question is, will it be too noisy in a town where people get pulled over for that kind of ****?

If you go with a catted down-pipe you won't be too noisy at all. Catless is much louder.

Ask interviewatruins about how loud it is with a catless DP and no muffler.

i like the sound of that then! Just wish I always had tons of money laying around to do these things. It'll take me a month or two to be build that up because I need front brakes. Which I will probably just go to the dealer for, unless there's suggestions for brakes also......

doesn't cost a ton of money for catless and a muffler delete. i paid $135 for a catless dp from badmab and another $40 for the muffler to be removed and cut for a straight pipe with chrome tip

probably the cheapest route
