Sounds like a stock GMS1 tune to me but only one way too see for sure. Someone needs to hook up a hp tuners cable and do a read entire to pull the tune file see what tune is in the ECM. Try what I suggested above with swapping the top and bottom sensors and make sure they are clean and see what happens.

No dealers do not have hp tuners, look for a performance shop, specifically a GM performance shop. If you want to have the vehicle tuned by someone remotely (e.i. Term2) then I would buy Hp tuners otherwise just have a performance shop pull the data.

Just so you guys know, with the cold side TMAP sensor, the "T" stands for "temperature." The TMAP sensor has pressure and temperature feedback. The MAP sensor in the intake manifold only feeds back pressure. That is why there is an extra wire: because the pigtails are the same and we are not using the temperature feedback wire.

Okay so i pulled and cleaned the sensors (werent very dirty) and switched them. Still the same problem. I dont have a performance shop near me that i know of, and really have no clue where to go to have my tune looked at. What i want to know is if i bought a trifecta tune, would it just overide the current tune, giving me a fresh start?

I found out out of raw luck someone I used to work with is actually a trifecta dealer! He has all of the scanners and tools I will need to diagnose the problem and retune if need be. So whenever he gets a chance he's gonna look at it

i rewired the map and tmap sensors. but still the BARO reading comes and goes. i also just bought an AEM dry flow filter. no more oil filters for me after sticking a qtip down in the lower charge pipe and seeing all the nasty **** thats in there. i should probably look into getting that cleaned out. anybody know if it's as easy as just undoing the clamps, wiping her out, then putting it back? can't be to hard.
after the switch to the AEM, the BARO reading seems to work more frequently but it's still not 100%. we'll see in the next few days or so
