Gratz on the car!

Just curious, my car was at event code 4300 yesterday. I think that's "intermediate shipping center" or soemthing like that. Any clue if all this business with delays will affect that? I assume that it means the train has left the factory and is now "elsewhere." Fingers crossed!

 

I FOUND ONE!!! Sport tint red! I am picking it up tomorrow...they are even willing to honor the GM supplier pricing! Btw....this may be a stupid question but the sport tint red is the darker red right? I have been so fixated on the blue that I have totally disregarded all other colors...whoops

Oh, and I already have an appointment with a tint guy so hopefully tomorrow night I will be able to post pictures!

 

AWESOME! yes it's the darker red, there are a lot of pics of that color on here it's reeeally nice and very different. I was almost ready to go pick up a silver one at another dealer..but i had my heart set on black. I'm so excited! These last 3 hours at work are gonna be a draaaaaaaaaag though.

Well ****.... I did what I said I was going to do. I started calling every one and any one I could. I told are story to GM. Then you will never guess what happened? The General Manager of sales for my state called my dealer. He told him that he wants to meet and talk to me. He said that the SS's are going to be moving faster really soon. But there still is a problem. The truck drivers in my state are now on strike. This strike could be happening in other states soon to. So GM is trying to find freelance truck drivers to fill-in for the time being. Don't give up guys it’s almost over.

 

When are you getting it?

 

mine is still a 4300 as well and I live in ohio..... anyone know about how long they waited after their car became a 4300?

 

I picked it up today...already put on the window tint and everything....I created a new thread and posted some picks... The sport tint turned out to be the way to go (preferred over the victory red)....it is a sexy beast! This car is certainly turning heads wherever I go!

Still don't have mine.
still hearing the same lame excuses. I actually didn't hear from my dealer for 5 days. I couldn't stand it anymore and called them today.

I will never, ever go back to them again, probably wont by a chevy again unless it's a vette.

I was 4300 for just over a week. car is finally on a truck. hahaha!!!

 

I have contacted the general manager.
He doesn't care. Says he will call back, never does.

 

man its crazy how everyone is excited for these cars... ha ha i was excited too. still lovin mine. almost had mine for a month now. in 2 weeks

 

its been about a week and a half now.

 

Chevy just left me a voice mail. My car just left the factory and should arrive at the dealer in a week to a week and a half. that will be over six weeks since i bought the thing.

it sucks that i have to find out what my dealer can't
