Passenger side oil leak behind engine

Passenger side oil leak behind engine

What is this part pictured below? It's behind the engine just above the output shaft. I tried to get a look at the top and it doesn't look like oil is coming from above it.

That's the water pump, could be coming from the top part maybe the valve cover gasket or something around those lines

I've looked a good bit from under and above. It looks like a result of PCV escaping the port on the back of the valve cover. I do have the Powell AOS and had to put an NPT fitting in that port for it. There is no shiny wet oily residue anywhere. It's all just that light oil/dirt film on everything below that port. It's such a slow accumulation that it just can't be a leak from where oil actually flows. I hosed it all down with brake cleaner and I'll watch it. This has been going on for a while, it seems.

Did you ever resolve this issue? I'm having the exact same problem with my 09 lnf

It was actually the drain hose connection on the air/oil separator. It wasn't snug and oil was leaking from the separator bottom.
