Power loss < 3000rpm?

Ok like the title says I am getting a power loss in 1st and 2nd gears but only under 3000rpm. Any ideas? It kinda boggs out on me a little. And then at 3000 it takes off. No codes and no power loss message. Only mod is dejon sri

I've had noting but problems from this intake so I wouldn't be suprised. I might put stock back on to see if it corrects itself.

Step 1: remove shitty intake
Step 2: put stock intake components back on
Step 3: enjoy the power below 3000 rpms

I haven't had that intake...or any for that matter...because it seems that EVERY one that people log data on...it throws the fuel trims off "like a mother." Your car is trying its best to compensate for the weird MAF readings but can't fully do so...so I would suggest that unless you get a tune for that intake...go back to stock

I assume you went back to stock?? Disconnect the battery and hold the pos and neg battery leads together. This will clear everything the car has learned from trying to correct the maf readings and it will start the learning process over again

around 16000 miles.

at this point i am thinking that it is the head gasket. it is sputtering A LOT more now and the power loss is almost bringing the engine to a halt. i hope i make it to the dealer on tues. but until then i will try the battery thing.

look for a leaking vacuum line or and make sure all your charge piping is all secure and change your spark plugs
