ZZP is working on some Transmission Upgrades. The gears themselves aren't the problem. Its the shafts and/or case flexing.

But yes, it'd be nice for someone to develop a man transmission for us. The problem is that they'd be spending a lot of money... and a lot of people probably wouldn't buy it.

Until then, take your transmission apart and have it Cryo'd.

Pesky blue sexy catlike female alien specie block the path.

There are male catlike aliens too, but who cares

The gears are weak. I have completely stripped off 3rd input and output gears twice now on a NLS with a stage 4 6 puck clutch opps.

Cryogenic processing is a thermal cycling process that incorporates state of the art computer controlled equipment to consistently monitor and control the product's temperature in a very controlled state. This produces an even distribution of relieved stress in the material that extends the durability and longevity of the product. In essence, cryogenic processing realligns the molecules of a product to produce greater dimensional stability, fewer hot spots, more consistency, and increased heat transfer. Nearly all drivetrain, suspension, and brake components benefit from being cryogenically treated

Its not the gears that are the weak spot, necessarily... its the flexing goes on. The Output/input shaft(s) flex causing the gears to separate a little bit and run on the tips of their teeth... and that'd be when the striping occurs. Some people would say that its because you have too much clutch and/or too much torque.
