Severe Accident W/ Pics... Ss/tc
UPDATE on posts #96 & 108.....
Hey fellas, as my signature states, I've only had this car since the 28th of February (Yup, 3.5 weeks). I'm going about my normal day at work when I get a phone call that my car's been in an accident. I think, GREAT, in for a week and lost value. Nope, not the case. The police mentioned that I would need a ride to the station as the car had to be towed as it was inoperable!
My car was the first car in a row of cars parked parallel to the street (Orange Street, in Media PA) from a stop sign. According to the report, the lady fell asleep at the wheel and slammed into my car (I was the first in the row). My car (parked) then slammed into the Silverado that ws parked directly behind me. She has both front and rear damages.
I am EXTREMELY PISSED as I just ordered parts for her yesterday ...
I'm thinking she is totaled, so I started looking for another similar model. I want another Cobalt as I loved the car. I'm currently looking at a fully loaded 09 2 door coupe loaded with everything except for the high-rise. The dealership basically offered me 21,900 (plus taxes, titles, etc.). Is that a good deal??
I was not in the car (I was at work 26 miles away) at the time of the accident or I would be reporting this to you from my bed at home.
Here are some pics:

Thank you all for your support. I'd take my health any day over a piece of machinery. I hope this all works out in the end

Yup, Orange Street in Media is 25mph. She definitely blew the stop sign faster than 25mph when she hit me. I'm honestly at a loss for words right now. I didn't even make the first payment yet!

I know, but there aren't any within 100m miles according to the chevrolet dealership. I found a nice one without a sunroof for 19,900 with 6 miles on it in Florida
I'm looking for another Victory Red, but this time with USB, LSD, RPD, sunroof (maybe) and with red/black inserts ... no high rise though
