Shifting Issues

Yo,

I remember someone telling me a while back that the ss has some issues with the shifter. I have noticed that when im NLSing I grind gears alot from 1st to 2nd and 3rd to 4th.

Any thoughts?

The shifter and the rods / linkage are garbage, I just got mine back after a rod popping out of the plastic ball socket and bending and then later that day, popping it out at the other end but the new one didn't break thankfully. All before hitting 7300kms on the damn thing.

Shouldn't cause you to grind gears unless your linkage really needs an adjustment. Most likely clutch??

and are you sure you're putting the clutch to the floor and keeping it in the entire time you shift? I know the first time I ever NLS I didn't hold the clutch in long enough and I scared the sh*t out of myself.
