I'm going to the dealer today. I really won't pay 16k I was thinking around 14. Do you guys think that's low balling. ? Trade in value on the car is around 10k they probably paid less. Once I drive the car off the lot kbb has it valued at 13k. Should I offer 13 not sure I don't wanna low ball but I'm not paying asking price lol. I'm young so I know they will try and take advantage but I'm no Fool, I knew the bullshit game with dealers.

A good friend of mine gave me this advice when I was shopping for a used Z06 and it worked. Go in and tell them you can't afford more than $X. AND STICK TO IT. You have to be prepared to walk away when they say "No, we have to get $Y". Be polite and tell them "Thank you. Please call me if you're willing to deal at that price." and leave. They may go for it and they may not. But you won't be paying more than you want to.

I went today test drove and everything nice car I must say. Interior ehh. The warranty had just expired so I'm keeping that into consideration. There seem too be dripping from the cat converter. I think their May have been an exhaust leak but I'm not sure.

After research I wasn't aware that a whole gets poked In the muffler to allow the water to flow out.

I think its a good price. Bought mine in 09 for $20,400 with 400 miles on it. If its in good condition and it doesnt look like some idiot was messing around with tuning software on it then get it.

Perfect example here. https://www.cobaltss.net/forums/prob...n-fail-299671/

and... holy crap did you get taken to the cleaners! I said 20,400 but that was my loan. I put down $1500 and got $2000 for a trade so really for my car I paid a total of $23,900. I owe less than $3k left. Will be paid off this winter with my bonus and I will be sooooo happy.

usually 6 years is the max you need to go on a set of tires
