i outrun my buddies stock 2WD TBSS, that goes 8.9's in the 1/8th, from a 40 roll when i had 800 miles on my car... i would expect you to walk the dog on a AWD TBSS... they are pretty slow

 

smart guy..... people think theyre ******* fast i dont get it.

 

Of course a 3k lb car is going to have a huge advantage in a roll race. Why not line up from a dig?

 

im not sure why i thought they were so fast.... i just heard highly from them... and when i heard his V8 i got a lil scared.

 

It was an option in 2010 ..... the only factory option on the car . otherwise they were loaded ...rpd ....sunroof ect. Any other option besides G85 was done at the dealer..... dealer installed options.

 

For an SUV? They're fast. Gotta keep these things in perspective. I had a Buick with a 455 big block that was fast - in its day. Now it'd be a push to beat a mildly tuned Civic with a fart can exhaust! Its fully loaded with everything, and can rip off extremely respectable numbers - and sounding good doing it, too!

 

Exactly ...... they look good.... sound great ..... and can haul ass .....literally . The fastest stock TBSS ( according to youtube) went 13.3@103.9.... so basically 104MPH..... that pretty quick for most ..... and puts it right there with tuned cobalts. Big deal if you roll race one and beat it .... i haven't seen many drag strips that run you from a 40 roll lol

 

silverbullet. If it was a 2010 Mustang it would be the 4.6. The 5.0 didn't come out till the 2011 Mustang. Unless he swapped engines or something?

 

its funny when they knock you down that the car that you raced was heavier and in the end says nice kill

well it is... but i guess they then realized the car i raced was not stock.

 

It was the 5.0 lol i didnt catch that haha your correct the 5.0 didnt come out till 2011. Il have to change that And i talked to the guy with the mustang the other day. He had a SCT tune anf steeda intake? i think thats what it was called. he thought it made a huge difference but still wasnt enough lol.

 

thats crazy that you beat him... i have injen CAI and trifecta tuned at 23psi. and my friends stock 5.0 smoked me.

now he has a steeda intake, boss 302 intake manifold. and offroad xpipe. with borla attaks on the end. he is smoking everyone

 

How bad did he smoke you ? I guess some of them have better gearing than others...an option from ford IIRC.

 

his was the automatic... umm he walked me... there was a steady pace of a gap between us down the 1/2 mile road we did it on. by the time we hit around 120 ish, he was already at the end of the road i was still about 10 car lengths behind him

 

WOw .... there is a new one around here with exhaust and it sounds unreal...... Ford definitely got their **** together with the new GT's

 

cool story. i love those trailblazer ss's... what sucks is, JUST LIKE THE COBALT, theres a million 'base' models rolling around, at it takes the luster off the ss badge... like at any given light i can look in either direction and see 3 tb's or cobalt base models.. oh well

 

all the guys on here saying a 13 sec suv stock is slow are all idiots
