Specific trifecta tune ?

I have a ? about the trifecta tune the one gm techs and cannot find. Are they going to be able to discover later on. Word spreads around and once they start realizing there's a hidden tune are do you think they are gonna come up with a scanner or something to detect it? Im really thinking about getting a trifecta tune but kinda still want my warranty thats why i've been waiting for stage 1 but thats a joke all together

Sure they could eventually find it. Plus if your really screw up your car they will send the ECM off to GM and they will diff find it. If you don't have the money to fix what you break then I would hold off for the Stage 1 kit.

they would be able to find it if they looked hard enough I am sure

but at least its masked a bit more than just having a hp tune installed all the time

Or just get a 2nd ECU if you are that worried about it.

the second ecu is a good idea in theory but if something breaks it should log/ throw a cel and if ecu is swapped nothing will be logged

Well all you have to do is put stock ECU back in and the CEL should light if the car is ran or tried to turn on.

Other than that, just claim ignorance.

It's like the "don't talk to cops thread"

They can't prove what you were doing, Don't go in there and tell them you were doing a burn out or drag racing and you have a better chance of getting something done.
