Will do. I am sure it will be a while. I can at least give you my .02 on the seat of the pants feel when I drive one.

I trap 105 on hot days and almost 109 when its cold out. When the ss/tc slips some if they are not within 105-109 they won't walk me from a roll anyhow. Their torque however will definitely help off the line and the no lift shift helps too.

yet a 2.5 car did 253 with meth {lsjwannabe}

the 4 stage 2 cars i dynoed last dummer were all within 2-3 hp before i jumped in with the laptop.

the highest was 226 to the tire, and 197 ft lbs.

these stage 2 numbers were all done on the same dyno, maybe 10 degree difference in temps through out the day.

qft.

if someone knows how to drive the tc cars. you will get walked. however. if the guy doesn't have a clue how to drive the tc. it will be a half ass drivers race.

im used to my car, no lag.

handling is softer than mine, quiet ass car. hit the tc button twice and threw it into comp mode. found a lil side street and gave it hell. the no lift shift thing is cool. i feel sorry for the clutch though. the clutch is softer than the sc cars. shifter is a tad shorter.

ran first up to 3k, and roll into it. foot glued to the floor, hammered second, revlimiter. doh! hammered third. brakes work alright i guess. they are nice cars, i just prefer the fun of mine. im spoiled by the 8k rpm fun

now i know what turbo lag feels like. again. there is a lot of room for improvement with the stock tune file in those things.

Well for some reason I just did not feel the same way. I think my car is a little faster, but am I getting one HELL YES! All around it just seemed so refined over my 06 and I think with a few mods it will beat my stage 2 car no problems. I have never dynod my car but I have ran it at the track alot and I have gotten a 13.7 at 105mph, 2.4 60ft and 2500 feet above sea level. I have said though from day one when I signed the papers on my 06 that the only reason I would get rid of it is if they come out with a turbo model and they did, so I am.

Hmm... My SS/SC with mods listed in sig got 229whp on the same dyno that my SRT-4 got 310whp on and I have beaten stock LS1 Corvettes in (40 rolls) (by a ~1/2 car). What does that say? :S

Ok, I'm going to state this just one more time:

The only way to know for sure how a SS/T stacks up against a Stage 2 SC in hp is by putting both cars on the same dyno on the same day.

There will be no other way to tell.

Doing anything else is mere conjecture ...

well when my friend raced his GM stage 2 winter tune with intake and exhaust against a stock SS/TC, he pulled on him very slowly.

i think its kinda stupid to compare cars by the butt dyno. They both trap 102-103MPH in the quarter mile, thats indication enough that they are pretty even...

^^^^ listen to this post... and lets not discuss it again until this happens.

even on the street won't work, people will claim driver mod one way or the other..

dyno dyno dyno.......... or track times when they arrive, but people will claim driver mod for this too

I don't get mad, I just get a 'lil frustrated at times (there's a difference between the two).

But what I was talking about is hp, not acceleration.

A drag race introduces too many variables (who got the jump, driver experience, etc.).

Measuring two cars on the same dyno on the same day should permanently settle the question of how they compare in hp.

The TC is not going to beat down S2 SC's by any means. They're on equal ground.

I really wish a SC and tc would get together , but you know what ... it wouldn't change anything . Oh he cant drive or i spun the tires or a million other excuses . Frank is right , and i've said it before , same dyno, same day , same correction , same weather, same gear lada lalala .

You do realize that the LS1 is ~345bhp right? ...And I already said that my SRT-4 dynoed at 305 to the wheels. Do you have any idea of what the hell you are talking about? The SRT-4 also weighs a bit less as well.

Remind me again of why it's not possible?

who cares, just look at numbers for a straight line for now and their pretty even for S2 and TC.. i dont care what all of you guys say its so close theres no way anyone can be "RIGHT" about which one is actually faster because its too close to tell.. Some of you guys are actin like the ss/tc would wlak a S2, theres no way in hell that would happen, please back what you say up with some facts on how that would happen.
