Yeah I thought they did. Thats pretty damn impressive bone stock. I'd like to see what a full bolt-on ss/tc would do.

cmon man, don't be magazine racing. that's a hit or miss. NO ONE could ever run 13's in a ss t/c, OR they could run mid 13's. NO ONE KNOWS YET!

Concidering the car is rated for 14.1 stock from GM, you can immediately assume that people will get it to 13.7 with no mods at all.
Compare the original SS/SC, GM rated it in the mid-high 14s. People have been able to take it down to 14.1 with absolutely no mods, not even tires.

lots of assumptions in there.
and btw, i saw the ss/sc rated as low as 14.2 in mags.

13.95 maybe.
13.7? oh i think thats a bit of a fairytail.

it trapped at 103, it should be good for more than a 13.9

you are at 106 and ran a 13.3

Yea, I'm at 100 and ran a 13.6, but that doesn't mean that some joe shmoe, let's say yourself, will go to the track and bang out a mid 13.

you are making too many assumptions

Keep in mind that 14.1's in stock SS S/C's are rare.

Most decent drivers I've seen are mid 14's bone stock. I don't believe 14.6 was THAT much slower than the average times I've seen stockers run.

oh I doubt I would be able to run that fast, but that doesn't mean that the car doesn't have the potential to

Stage 2 vs SS/TC might be close in a drag race but the SS/TC will murder the Stage 2 around a track.

Abolutely nothing. The computer will limit your ass to 260 torque even if you have a jet engine piggybacking the LNF.

I agree. Both are and will continue to be great cars. If I hadn't bought the 08 SS I would have bought a used 07/06 SS. I went with the new one because of the new features and I got the 2.9% financing for 72 months. Couldn't come close to that on a used.

you can always use RPM and spark to ditch that lope.

i don't have the desire to **** with it. i know how to get rid of it. just more precise timing control. haven't swapped em yet, still runnin on 272's for now. the slp resonator made a huge difference in terms of sound. i do believe it is from the f-bod loudmouth exhaust
