You shouldn't feel bad. Mustangs are consistently faster. Every blue moon when the planets align you may be able to run a time close to what a Mustang could run regularly. It would have been worse from a dig. RWD>>>FWD.

Tune it!!

DUDE GET A TRIFECTA TUNE WILL SOLVE ALL UR PROBLEMS FOR $200=21LBS OF BOOST FOR LIKE $325=26-28LBS OF BOOST WITH STEALTH MODE SO THE DEALERS CANT SEE IT AND ONLY ACTIVATED IN COMP MODE. I HAVE THE $200 TUNE AND i WALK OVER GT MUSTANGS ALL DAY DIG AND HIGHWAY. JUST LAST NIGHT I BEAT A RAMAIR T/A BY HALF A CAR MODS UNKNOWN. BEAT A C5 CORVETTE BY 1 CAR AND A SUB STI BY 4 CARS ALL HIGHWAY RUNS. IM TELLING YOU WELL WORTH UR MONEY. MY SUGG IS GET AN INTAKE,EXCHANGE STOCK MUFFLER,GET THE TUNE!!! LOOK INTO IT WELL TURN UR CAR INTO A BEAST!!

Use the no-lift shift holds that boost!! Will help big time!!!

That's weird I have an 06 sc with stg 2 intake and custom tune and I have no trouble with 05 up gts I don't blow their doors off but I walk them without much trouble. I get massacred from a dig tho

It's hard to say with the stage kit.........you might be 300 crank right now . Not enough stage kit dyno's to say how they will react to mods. For 300 crank you would have to dyno roughtly 265.... 270 at the wheels .

stock we are dead even from a roll

stage 1 i put a bus on him

His neighbor who has a 10 second mustang did not believe that he got beat by a cobalt so he took a turn trying to beat me in the same car and couldn't do it.

ill do some more mods over the winter and get it dyno'd in the spring. $100/HR

Because they're better equipped, hence a faster car in stock form. Once you start modding a GT, the Mustang is again the better performing car. /thread.

I never understood this roll ricing phenomenon but I guess that is because I do my racing at the track. There is no better way to determine your cars performance.
