I hate to say it, but use the search feature man.

The stock turbo is a Borg Warner K04 and its good for up to 22-23psi, and with a good tune that would get you as much as 360whp with the right bolt ons from what I've seen.

Trim... we aren't neons.... it's ******* small!

if I had to guess.... 30 trim if you are going by size...

22-23psi is it's money range... anymore you get a super peakie torque rating and hp that falls on it's face faster than a ***** in an orgy!

good for about 350-360whp or so.... 370-380wtq at like 3000rpms.

I don't think you have a firm grasp on how the trim is calculated. Just because a turbo is small doesn't mean the trim is low. A 40mm turbo could be a 60 trim. Just the same, a 90mm turbo can be a 40 trim.

Our stock turbo has a 43mm inducer on the compressor. The exducer is 59.5. this gives this turbo a trim of 52. The wheel has the same design as the popular extended tip turbos being used by a lot of racers. Unfortunately, it is just too small to support a lot of power.

As far as power potential for this turbo, it will not support 360whp on a stock 2.0. Expect numbers more like 330-340 with full bolt ons and a good tune. At that point, the turbo is just plain done. Torque on the other hand can be pushed past 400 pretty easily by pushing 30+ psi at 4000 RPM.

***edit came off as a dick***

I don't think you have a firm grasp on that I was making a joke...

I know the trims on turbo's are based on wheel sizes...

I was messing with him because the whole "turbo" community feels trim means it's bigger or smaller in over all size... hence why I said if based on size in my post.

Ain't that the truth, this little turbo can boost to the moon in the midrange. And this was on a lower boost setting, before i was hitting 34% injector duty cycle but didn't have the boost reading from the 3bar sensors.

Full bolts on's meaning- Catless DP, Catback (optional), Lower & Upper CP's, Intake and a Tune

I would just recommend going with a catless dp and then a tune and leave it like that cause your tune is gonna be the most gain in hp

Tune + catless will be the biggest gain in power...stock intake and exhaust (cat excluded) are very efficient for just about anything the stock turbo can produce. Everyone follows a different path, but I think most will agree that the first step in getting good power is to up the boost and ditch the cat.

I wasn't trying to to be a powner. It's just a common misconception that trim tells the size of the turbo. If anything, it can help determine the pressure ratios it will perform best at. Of course you wouldn't get far without flow data or a compressor map anyway.
