Superchips
I was just thinking that...cuz if 4th is an overdrive gear than that certainly would have messed with your results. Ill try to go today if Big Shots allows me to come up a bit late because i dont get out till 5 and thats about an hour and 15 from me. If thet cant im going to the track so either way ill have results of something by tonight..whether its dyno results or 1/4 mile improvements ill have something!! Which would you all rather see?
Dyno then track
Got my dyno time set for 2PM tomorrow, it will be me and a friend in his SC/Cobra (02 with vortech)

HP is close to the same (within 2-3 of third gear) torque will read slightly higher in 4th
Third is 1.18 4th is 0.89 both are about 15% off of 1.00:1 makes only a couple HP difference either way.

4th is better if you are loging data and checking for knock on the street. As long as you get a baseline and new numbers using the same gear you are fine.
yeah, well that's the cheapest place for me around here without any special "dyno days" where I'll wait 4 hours for a run!
I would love for a place to be $10 a run. but driving to FL would be cost inefficient for me
I guess I'll just have to stick with the 4/$75 until a dyno day!

Well...took it to the track...and now it has to go to the dealer...Threw a P0091 code and am in limp mode. Fuel pressure regulator or something..oh well... But not before I broke the 13s!! Best run 13.79 at 104.38 with a 2.25 60ft. That's almost a half second improvement over stock so I'm satisfied. I'll tell y'all what they say about it at the dealer tomorrow ha ha!!
Call OnStar...ask to speak to a onstar tech and have a probe ran. I think I threw this code once because the wiring of the fuel pump (the high flow at the camshaft) got hot or the sensor came unplugged. Long story short I retaped wire and replugged sensor, and code was erased.
^^^Yep thats it. Instant limp mode. Like I stated above, I simply untaped the wiring to the sensor, pulled the wire off the the bracket that is wrapped around the pump, retaped the wiring, and replugged the sensor. Turned it over once, then cranked it the second time, and it went away. I took it the dealer to make sure the pump was still operating properly, and they pulled the code, and said it works fine. Car drive fine now, havent seen the code since, and I have WOT the car a decent amount.

this is exactly why i got my 2nd ecu, if the sensor is faulty, it should still throw a CEL when the original ecu is loaded back into the car, and if it doesnt it may be a parameter that superchips needs to analyze
sandman do you have RPD?
