My favorite way of checking stabilizer bar links is to grab a buddy, and grab hold of the link while they bounce the car up + down.

End links are simple. Just pull on them. I'm literally replacing mine tonight cause they went. Then putting new springs on after that.

I'm hoping it is the end links. The local auto store has them in stock

Literally just tug it back and forth while your wheel is on. If it makes the same noise that's what it is. You won't be able to hear it if the wheel is jacked up. At least not on mine.

Tug on the endlink itself?

Not really that familiar with suspension. My buddy who is helping me knows more.

Well i gave it a few tugs. No noise what so ever. Dammit

This is driving me nuts. Its not a super loud clunk but when im in traffic and creeping doin about 10mph i can here the sound, im in the fast lane and the sound bounces off the median.

edit: well,i gave it another go. tugged, pulled, pushed and nothing! i have to bring my car to the dealership for the key ignition to get replaced. i may just have them look and see if they can figure out what it is and if it is something simple,i will replace it.

If you are going to install the FE5 suspension you will want the FE5 Moog Endlinks.

No.

You have the FE3 suspension which requires the longer endlinks (unless you modfied your suspension?).

If it is clunking, check to make sure the bolts are torqued to spec (55 ft-lbs.)

sorry but not sure which are the FE5's. I was looking at ZZP and they simply have the two different lengths, I don't see anywhere differentiating between FE1/3/5. is the shorter one for the FE5 suspension? thanks for your help

The shorter ones are the FE5 links.

Again, ZZP should not have them listed under one part number.

The FE5 part number is MOOG-K750012.

The FE1/FE3 has a different part number.

It can confuse some people.

awesome, thanks for clearing that up. i'm assuming then that i should be swapping out the FE1 links for those then even if they're not busted (ie source of the clunking) to match the new FE5 setup right?

Yea, if you are going to be using an FE5 suspension def pick up the FE5 endlinks.

ps many people have had trouble getting the nuts off of the link bolts, but with an impact driver it's a piece of cake. bought an electric one for the suspension job and IMO it paid for itself already with how much time and effort it saved me. worth it!!!
