Hey Synapse, do you have a website or material about you company? I'm intrested in using one company for parts especially if you plan on producing most/all bolt ons and turbo swaps. Do you guys do tuning programs also?

our website is www.synapseturbo.com

we are still waiting on some software development through hptuners. It might be the same as some software they already have but we're not sure yet. we are working as quick as we can to get that taken care of first as these new ecus tend to throw curve ***** when anything is changed on the motor.

i would put it in my sig, but we are still waiting to hear back about becoming a vendor here on the cobaltss.net

Thread cleaned up, keep posts on topic and tactful.

If you disagree with a comment back it up with facts and reasoning instead of petty name-calling, childish comments, etc.

I just noticed something. I thought gm rated the power as BHP, which is Brake Horse Power, which is what a dynopack measures at, THE BRAKES! So the car is about right, a little low on the hp side, if you ask me. That's definitely not WHEEL HORSE POWER cause the wheels ain't on it and the car ain't on rollers.

OR, something needs to be clarified cause I'm trying to think about what I'm seeing here.

Wow, glad to see you guys got into the balts. I was out there a few months back when the Ryans from RD Fabs came out w/ the RHD civic. If you're going to get into HPT w/ the Cobalts, then I need to talk to you. Shoot me a PM when you have a chance. This is very good news cause Ryan and I are digging into a project this winter...

that's only cause it measures closer to the crank than a dynojet does. Dynojets and mustangdynos measure WHEEL HORSEPOWER and dynopacks measure BRAKE HORSEPOWER.

not that it matters to us but if you want to dyno a 4 wheel drive car you will be required to use a dynopak.

I'm not sure if it's a dynojet, but I know they make dynos with 4 rollers. I've seen them myself. There is one in Kansas City.

The mustang dyno at Tune Time Performance in Jersey that's tuned me for everything after stage II is an awd dyno. Granted, we only have to drive up onto the first set of rollers, but the capability is there. I've seen many a' TBSS' on that thing...
