Well Fawk...
All my bearings are gone in my tranny and 5th gear apparently is some what stripped, which I don't even know how since I drive mainly in the city and hardly use the damn thing...
Ugh. Guy doing my tranny said only place he can find bearings are from the US via GM... going to cost about another 1500+ just for those, plus another week without the car.

Man this thing is a money pit.

Don't know anywhere good to get cheap bearings do you?

 

Buy a trans from Powell Race Shop

 

from his signature it looks like he alreadys has a powell trans

 

That would cost more though not less.
I'm already spending too much on this thing. Just had a valve go and shoot through the turbo, oil through out the piping. Had to replace the entire engine and turbo.

This thing is going to give me a heart attach or something...

 

Gears just showed up in the mail the other day and were getting put in now. That's how we found out about the bearings and 5th gear.

 

Got on the phone with John Powell and he's going to help me out. Had the parts there as well as some good advice. Guys a life saver for sure.
