Tuning for e47

I'm about to get my car tuned and I've been thinking about going for e47 since there are pumps everywhere around my city. My question is, do I have to change anything to run e47?

I've been doing some research and have found that I don't BUT when talking with someone about it he claims that the 2008 SS has different injectors and that the '09-'10 have the opel injectors stock and that's why people say stock Cobalt SS's can run e47 with nothing but a tune. I've also heard that the '08 can run it just fine. What's the truth here?

The 09-10 LNF's do NOT have Opel injectors stock, so he's sadly mistaken. What is true, however, is the early run 08's used an injector seal that wasn't e85 compatible, so over time the seal would degrade and ultimately the injector would no longer seal correctly in the port. Aside from the seal, the injectors are physically identical in all LNF engines.

With you owning a 08, that's really the only risk you run, and nothing else is needed to run e47 when coupled with the stock turbo.... assuming your tuner is competent of course.

Thank you very much! It will be tuned with HPT. Can I get the injector seals from ZZP or Modern?
