I've been through several phones while I've had this car and never been able to get that USB port to work I currently have a galaxy s3 and still no worky
just wondering if there something I'm missing here does somebody know if there are some settings in the radio or an app i can download to make it play together I know I can just hook up via the headphones hook upbut it would be cool if it would control the media player on the steering wheel

it work with ipod but never tried a flash drive

 

Its probably just not compatible with newer stuff. This radio was designed in late 08 remember. Flash drive should work though

 

when ever i've hooked my Galaxy Note up to it, well it doesnt work as a "Media Device" it says... works for like putting the phone calls through my speakers and so forth.. but thats about the jist of it

That's strange cuz my last three iPhones have worked with mine. Even my new 5s.

 

There is a setting in android phones on what the USB port u plug it into sees it as I believe. , change only, drive, ect, try checking that

 

It works with ipods and flash drives.
