Same here. I'm looking for about 650whp on my non-dd SS. Will get the ZZP girdled forged block 2.1 setup with head/cam combo and stage 2 tranny with 4.45 ratio. I will also add the level 5 axles

Ah, gotcha. I was going to double major as well in electrical and mechanical engineering. I decided not to though because I'd rather not be in school for the rest of my life.(no offense) It gets boring quick.

Unless you have hp tuners/trifecta cable and can switch back and forth, thats what people are doing. It takes a lot more fuel for e85 to run safely in your car therefore your tuner has to richen up your tune and with the use of e85 your timing and boost will be increased. Therefore you cannot switch between the two fuels until your tank is near empty and you switch back to a tune for the other fuel.

sounds really tedious i had a 2007 tahoe that ran e85 and i went thru gas faster then pump gas..I just want to b about to run normally and switch to my tune of the fly which is why i am thinking of the trifecta tune, but to run damn near empty b4 i can switch seems like alot. I guess becuz im not running it it seems that wayeven though here in el paso tx e85 is cheaper then 91 but i think the frequent trips to the station would make up for that

Just think, around 30% more fuel will be used when running e85, therefore your mileage will drop approximately 30%. But, you will probably have a 30+whp increase over not running e85. Meth could be an alternative and make around the same numbers as e85. It would last longer than e85 per gallon but meth can also get about as expensive as paying for e85 when trying to get a 50% distilled water/50% methanol mixture.

My goal is to get...
300-350whp
400+tq
Reliability a high priority
300,000km+ (I drive a lot, might get it there in 4 years)
Sell in 4-5 years
Buy a more mature car, has to be awd.
Thinking subaru diesel depending on how they work out.

what do you think it'd take to hit that?

Was hoping to dip into the high 12's on street tires.

Honestly, a GOOD custom tune and catless dp should do the trick, thats IF you can drive tho lol. You could always run meth and deff make 12's.

I ran 13.217 last week on a 2.2 60' with bolt ons and on hahn's bsr canned tuned. And from what ive read, should only be putting down around 300 whp. A custom tune should get you ( on average from what ive seen) 330(ish) whp.

I could deff hit a 13 flat as I am now, if not break into 12's.

Edit: some guy around here has a custom tune and bolt ons runs 12.595 on street tires, so there

Im just above 300 whp and all I have is bolt ons and a tune by trifecta. I've got treadstone upper/lower pipes with a raceport bov. Tr8 intercooler, I'm catless and have an agency power catback. I have a meth kit but still have yet to install it lol I think I might just sell it. Anyways I ran just over 13 with a passenger.

The thing about reached goals is in order to reach them your Tuner will tell you what needs to be done.like replacing plugs Gapping them and ect. And finding a dyno that's a close correct dyno.

Nah that was originally my plan but I think not I'm going to get my car stanced lol I'm about to get custom springs made to lower my car just over the tires. And I just got rear konis and soon hopefully fronts used. It would be a lot easier than new. But ill be getting brides soon and hopefully a harness bar before spring. I'm lookin at the powell. Anyone have one and can tell me how much they are? A get tuned for e85 but there are only 2 gas stations around here with it and not close to my house

Hooking it ups going to be a bitch plus either drilling into the lower charge pipe or going with a tb. And a tune all for 30 hp? Idk if its really worth it?

30whp for 500ish bucks......ya that's worth it imo. if you set it up right and monitor it meth ends up being safe and reliable.

you are gonna have to be at an extremely well prepped track in order to run mid to low 12s on street tire probably just better to just run a drag radial i am finally gonna bite the bullet and get a pair maybe idk what i want to really do with my car anymore
