I really don't think it's worth it. Retarding and advancing timing on the fly? I'm guessing you will probably be disappointed if you get it, and if you don't you will be a richer man!

I really think this going to be a waste of time and lots of headaches.

What are you trying to do? 400whp or 500 or what?

cardelino18.

I don't think that will work. It "intercepts" the injector signal and alters it.
I believe our injectors are 24VDC where as normal injectors are 12VDC. I also believe ours require more amperage as well.

If you want to control fuel talk with Vince at Trifecta he was able to unlock our ECM's fuel tables. He was able to increase the fuel pressure. More pressure equals more fuel. Also we have a very limited window of fuel delivery.

Our injectors are definitely not 24v. Plus the bigger fueling issues here are the mechanical high pressure pump, and the actual size of the injector being maxed. A piggy back system will unfortunately fix neither

If you're that desperate for fuel go with AIC1 Additional Injector Controller , same **** but rebranded that Hahn uses for their portfueler setup. I'm probably going to end up going with that sometime early next year. Only around 280$ depending on where you get it from, but you gotta add injectors, rail, and some custom fab cost to it. It's sort of shitting on the whole DI thing, but hey, doesn't seem like we got much choice atm.

If you want to move to port injection I don't think it would be that hard. We can just drill our intake for the injectors and then put plugs where the DI injectors are but we would need to run LSJ pistons. As for the ECM have you heard of Megasquirt? its a stand alone ECM that can be had for about 300 dollars. We already have an intank fuel pump so it would really just be pistons and installing normal injectors. It would probably run like crap though because the head is made for DI. best to just use the head from the LSJ too. but at that point wouldn't it be better off to start with a cobalt/sc?
