08 ss turbo, major problems!!

okay first off ill name the mods then tell you the situation..
zzp upper ic pipe with zzp bov
zzp lower ic pipe with maf relocate
zzp intake with stock air box
zzp 3" catted dp with 3" exhaust no res or muffler
zzp tune

now i just had the lower ic pipe put on 2 weeks ago, everything has been running fine, this last weekend i drove about 160 miles round trip with no problem, last night i drove down to the store and it jerks real bad when i tried to use boost, now a cel light came on tonight on my way home, wont accelerate, backfires, rough idle. its not a blown turbo because i can still hear it spool up when i try to take off, sounds like before the problems started. tried checking the ic pipes and all the couplers but could see the ones that connect into the intercooler, it was dark out and freezing cold, light on my flashlight was dieing so i didnt get into checking it much. any ideas on what the problem could be?? if you need more info let me know or questions.

definately go to autozone to get your codes read asap. kind of the best starting point for a situation with a CEL

Boost leak. Check for busted I/C and loose clamps. Report back with codes as well like already stated.

So Before You installed the Lower Pipe your MAF was in the intake ? and now you installed the Lower IC Pipe and put the MAF there ?

Are you tuned for the BOV with the MAF being located in the lower pipe or the intake still...

yea i had everything tunned for what needed to be, having the bov required a retune and having the map relocate needed one also, i live mabey 25 miles from zzp so thats where i get all my work done, as for the gas i put 93 in it, i was looking at my slip and it says 93, im not sure if that makes it worse or if it affects anything at all. i had the intake, upper pipe, and exhaust components along with the first tune all done at the same time, the second time there i had the lower ic pipe installed with a retune. do most chevy dealers carry a map sensor?? or would they have to order one.

and yea, the map was on the intake tube, but running the bov caused it to jerk when i let off the gas becasue the bov would go off and the sensor reads all the air went missing so it floods the engine with gas, but having the lower pipe and map relocate solved that problem.

Bubble gum in the muffler

Seriously though, scan the codes and post them up. Can't help you without that info. Everyone is just guessing at this point.

not a slam on zzp,but that's where i would start. if your car was fine prior to them working on it,then they should be able to tell you what's going on. i wouldn't touch the car. i'm sure zzp can fix the problem.

Well apparently it's just water in the inter cooler pipes, just a drop on the map sensor is all it takes.. Unplugged it and ran it at higher then normal speeds to flush the water out. Runs fine now

Water will do that. I have trouble with my ZZP 3" CAI getting water sucked in.

Makes the car think it has a SUPER amount of airflow when it actually doesnt so it floods in the fuel.
