2010 Cobalt SS ride with GM Stage 1 kit (with pictures)
HUGE thanks for Bill (More_Torque_More_HP) for bringing out this car and showing what it can do. To be general this car pulls through the entire gear. Coming from a 2006 cobalt SS driver with GM stage 2 this is to be expected, however I rode in my friends 2009 SS with HP tuners tune and I would REALLY like to see a race with these two. The car never falls flat on its face and just keeps going. Temps outside were 65 F and PSI spiked at 22 and stayed at 20-20.5 PSI. I was really amazed at what this stage kit can do compared to the HP tuned car I also rode in. Bill also shead some light on these "invisible tunes" and the learn down feature as well and gave me info on some LSJ stuff. If you are thinking of buying this tune then GET IT, those who went for a ride in it have loved it and more people will post threads like this today and tomorrow about the car. Bill had some numbers but I will leave that to him if he feels like posting. Thanks for reading and onto the pictures!

I did not drive for the fact I did not want to mess anything up (Bill offered many times) and I rode in my friends HP tuned ss t/c as stated and thought it would be a better butt test lol. However Bill did no lift shift, so yes...in a way.
Is the radio the only thing you saw diff from 09?
meh crash the car IDK lol, but I really wanted to compare with the other tuned car I rode in and get videos....that dont work for some reason.
I had some questions on what cooling mods would be best etc.
As for the radio that was pretty much the only thing I saw diff from 09, others will be driving it also and I drive a 2006 s/c so they might be able to spot things I missed.

After Bill gave you a ride, he stopped by my work and let me drive the 2010 Cobalt SS/TC Stage 1. This will be the my second mod to my "Tuner". The first one being sub frame connnectors. Bill confirmed that first gear is the same/very similar in terms if power however I noticed a big diifference in power in second and third gear. I was prepared for the extra torque steer with two hand on the wheel and I would agree due to the extra power, it has more torque steer. I didn't perform the no lift **** because I don't have the tecnique perfected and I didn't want to embarass myself.
My Cobalt TC only has a mechanical booster guage, This TC had the RPD which I think is the ccoolest thing since sliced bread. I thought it was awesome to see how much fuel pressure you had at idle vs when accelerating. Maybe this will be my 3rd mod
So people who have been waiting...the stage kit is just around the corner, and you will be pleased.
BTW.. Bill thanks for meeting up with me and letting me pick your brain.

Naw just my mind at work......I was like ......the intake is conveniently out of every picture lol... i doubt they would take a car out to cobalt enthusiasts with an intake they wanted to keep secret lol.

mine also makes 331 whp 393 wtq.
im not bashing the GM stage kit..i think its great..i just think GM priced themselfs out of the market.
yea it might be a little pricy but from what he told me it was tested to last the lifetime of the car. Not sure if your tune can say that and I also know from your posts that you dont think that the infiniboost is for everybody lol.
nope thats for sure. i will say their is probably more reliablity with the stage 1 then custom tuning, however for the price..id stick with the custom tuning..just preference. Id like to see some dyno numbers of the stage 1.
