255/35/18's?

I have a Tire size question. Will a 255/35/18 Tire fit on the stock SS/TC wheel? Also would there be any rubbing? The height of the tire is nearly the same as the 225/40/18's the car comes with, and the speedo error should only be about .02%

Yeah I asked about the 255's before, they will fit and will not rub do to the tire height. The only problem is the stock wheels are not wide enough so the tires are going to be pinched so to speak and wear in the middle. The guy at work that does all the tire work, says to buy a set of sticky stock size tires.

They are about the same height as stock and If you look at the actual specs on our stock tire on tire rack you will see that they are 9.4 inches wide. Most 225/40R18 are 8.9 inches wide so our tire are already the same width as most 235/40/R18. I would measure the clearance behind the tire to the stru and see what you get. If there is 0.25" than you can run up to a typical 245 at 9.8 inch width. If there is more than 0.25" of space a 255 should fit but it is going to be kinda squeezed on the 7.5" wheels IMHO. I would go with a 245/40 or a 235/40 if it were me.
