No way of getting around it... you are wrong on this. Front mount will create more lag than a top mount. More volume for the turbo to fill... more lag. Plain and simple.

but u still run into issues with heat on a top mount compared to a front mount, on a sti! but if ur on a stock turbo setup its not even worth it to have a bigger intercooler cuz u dont gain anything! only if u go big turbo and supporting mods u will see a difference...check the air fuel ratios.. thats what the whole conversation was about a top mount vs a front mount on a sti

True points. Not denying them. But putting a big FMIC on a stock turbo STI will hurt you because of the extra lag. I saw it on a local car. Horrible lag. Made him slower. Much slower.

This will be 90% of srt4 owners, putting the BFMIC on because it looks nice lol

yea but 50% of srt-4 owners dont know anything about the car! ...or how to mod, its the same with any car though
even with tunes u still wont see gains on a stock turbo setup with a bigger intercooler... its over kill
