50 trim! Swap or pass?

I got a guy that wants to sell me his Turbonetics 50 trim turbo.. He's asking $550 for it..
Should i get it? Is it worth it?
If I do get it, what else would I need to get, to be able to run it?
Manifold, fuel pump, injectors, what else?

manifold, oil/coolant lines, custom downpipe, possible custom intake and charge piping, tune for that turbo

you wont need new injectors cause there aren't any aftermarket ones...the stock fueling system should be fine

it could be done, but it would be a headache which is why you don't see anyone else sourcing a turbo and going from there.....best way to go is a kit

with my new setup i had to get. Manifold/Turbo/Oil Lines/Custom intake/Turbo DP/Intercooler/New CP/BOV think thats about it besides some new couplers and clamps.

I would not, a .50AR trim is small. For this engine If you're going to upgrade the turbo I wouldn't go less than .60 AR trim. and beside the headache of all the custom work. I was going to install a custom 35R on my GTI, but it was a big headache after I got the trubo. It was a nice fat .70 AR trim compressor and .63 AR turbine. Perfrect for power but laggy with 2.0's

Is it a T3 50 trim? or T4 50 trim? The first is a downgrade from stock and the second one might be worth a try.
