Also my ZZP engine does drink oil like kool aid. I guess I have to live with it since ZZP would only warranty well... nothing. I am not going to argue about it because I honestly dont care anymore, and this forum is 95% ZZP nut swingers. My car sits more than it drives now anyways.

Yeap I have it. Works pretty well as long as you don't go below 22psi as the controller seems to not work well below that. I'd also get a mbc as well.

Question...why didn't you replace the rings and rehone the cylinders? It isn't that hard...you can be down to the pistons within a day...just saying...

they wouldn't warranty it because you had the PCV setup incorrectly. the rings didn't seat because of excess crankcase pressure. you want them to warranty your screw up with their time and materials?

Jeb, don't come over here spreading lies. You know perfectly well that we offered to fix your motor free of charge despite the fact that you had a faulty PCV system during break-in. All you had to do was get the car to ZZP and we would fix it. You declined and that was your choice. The funny part of that was that John (GMTech) was the one that told us that Jeb would cause his motor to fail and then blame us. Of course that was when John was still ok with ZZP but couldn't stand Jeb. Now that John hates ZZP for unrelated reasons, he automatically blames ZZP for Jeb's issues. Then he tells us that his posts are not driven by any type of bias.

We still offered to warranty it, but he refused to ship it to us. He wanted us to pay the shipping company and would not agree that he could be responsible for that cost if the issue was not due to a ZZP part. Basically it was one of those situations where he refused to believe that the problem could be something different than his latest guess.

I don't mean to drag this any more off topic than already is, but my zzp crate engine arrives next week and I've got the zzp sc kit with that little mushroom style filter on the pcv, it is freshly cleaned and I'm wondering what i need to check to make sure my system is functioning properly. $5k engine, fubar'd my oem block and I need to get this right.

Document everything you do. You will need some form of proof if the engine is fucked up.

I just had my mechanic do some work on my 09 SS and he said it looked like my fifth injector was stuck open or something and flooding the engine bc when they plugged it back in it killed it. Just looking for some advice. Should I buy a new one from ZZP? Or is it possibly a different issue? Said the controller wouldn't respond. I should mention that I was running it too lean for awhileand did some damage to the engine.
