This right here. Also SRIs do increase IAT1s as much as 70* which WILL mess with the idle fuel trims quite a bit. My IAT2s were also a little hotter (5-10*) when I had a Dejon SRI on my car even when doing a hwy pull. This is especially true in summer but even in winter idling for a couple minutes has the IAT1s get up to 140*. There is no, I repeat no, performance advantage to a SRI other than installartion and cleaning the filter. Do they make more or less power than a CAI? Actually they are all about the same as far as dyno numbers and acceleration times.

That's pretty much why I've resisted the temptation to get one. Stock box>>>cooler temps... better filtration capacity..no *oil on MAF* issues..no fuel trim hastles. Might try the ZZP intake tube though.

the cold air seems to rob my fuel efficiency.. power gains are still there, but i also took it out so the salt and snow doesnt get in the filter, leaving it clean for spring...
mileage dropped from a 27 to a 21....

Has anyone with the K&N SRI had any trouble with oil on the MAF? ie have you even found any oil on the MAF at all? If you have did it cause any trouble and what problems did it cause? How did you fix these problems? Etc.

No, sorry I meant just the filter which comes with the SRI. I wasn't sure if where it was an oiled filter, if the MAF would get coated and get messed up?
