Any input would be awesome!

Alright so this issue randomly happens like once a week. Goes away within 10 min of driving. But I notice when ever I through the car into neutral heading to a red light, the rpm needle drops under 1k and bounces around. Sometimes sounds like the car is hesitating to stay on.

My CEL stays on, so I haven't had any time to go look at it. Any Ideas?

One more thing, not sure if its clutch/transmission. Sometimes when I just start accelerating feels like a quick jerk for a sec then moves just fine. I have no clue how I'm randomly having all these issues. Haven't touched anything on the car for about 7 months now.

Start with the cel. Its cheaper than just throwing parts at your problem.

i have had similar issues with the rpm's jumping around, i could be wrong but i think it is normal since i havent had a cel yet after 3 years of owning my car. as far as hesitation goes, i have also seen this with my car. do u have the g85 (LSD)? if so then, i think you may have warped it from over usage. especially when the car is not completely at operating temps. just my 2 cents from what i have experienced. hope this helps!

does the jerking happen while its raining by chance? sometimes water can hit the MAF making the car jerk

i had the same issue as you for a while, my car would actually die on me pretty often. i wound up getting the car tuned and it just went away, sadly idk what was causing the problem though nothing mechanical though!

try cleaning your throttle body for starts, many people get that issue due to a dirty maf & throttle body

Nope, I'll just be driving and it will just start jerking. Then stop.

Betting on large boost leak. Most likely intercooler. Had the same issue and found a hole in both couplers at the intercooler when the car was on the stock turbo.

Only answer worth reading so far. Go get that code scanned.

ya when i was driving through snow the car would go into low traction. so i researched on the forums and found that wheel spin caused overheating of the lsd, which lead to warping it.

check cel and make sure its not the MAF,
Then check for vacuum, or boost leaks.

well, if wheel spin causes the lsd to get too hot and warp, than that should happen to anyone that has a built cobalt, and the tranny would be getting too hot and burn up too, honestly, the bearings would go out before the differental gets warped,

you sir, are an idiot, sorry to say it

but op, do what the first guy said, stop by autozone or orrylies on your way home, they scan and clear the codes for free, find out what codes your popping and fix the issues why they are coming up. all you problems could be explained from anywhere from a bad o2 sensor, band ground, plugged fuel filter, dirty maf, dirty throttle body, bad throttle body sensor, clogged air filter. and the list goes on. thats the reason your car is throwing codes, its sensing that somethings wrong, and you need to fix it, and since something nots working right, the engine's trying to compensate for the scewed data its recieving and causing it it idle funny, and cause you shaking while you take off,
