Back fires at WOT

Ok so I have had a boost leak for awhile and I have fixed it but when I go over 15psi or WOT the car back fires, I do not have any codes what does this mean?

Misfire? Unburned fuel igniting in the exhaust?
Just a guess.

Unless you're hitting the limiter.

make sure your spark plugs are ok, gapped properly and torqued correctly too

you really ran a 12.1 on the stock turbo? got a vid or the slip? that's very impressive.

this. props if so.

and X2 on checking your plugs. sounds like you need to replace them and make sure they are gapped properly.

If you're not hitting the fuel cut and you don't have an overboost code, you must have an incomplete burn. Without a misfire code, you won't know which cylinder to check, but you could have a bad coil, but it's probably as simple as a fouled or worn plug. Remove and replace spark plugs, checking all gaps. Check old spark plugs for color.

If that doesn't solve it, you're probably looking into the cam position and crank position sensors.

You could have a bad post MAF leak or your injector seals could be going (I see you're on E85). Does it sound like popcorn?

12.1 is believable ie drag radials or slicks. His trap speed for the power seems a little high.

Isn't the record for a stock turbo an 11.9? I would say 12.1 requires some damn good driving
