Bad Fuel Pump

I have a 2008 SS/TC and all of a sudden the car wouldnt start. I had it towed to firestone and they said it was the fuel pump. Apparently this pump is impossible to find anywhere because they havent been able to find it, not even the dealership. Anyone else have a bad fuel pump on the TC and if so where did you get a new one?

Find out the codes and then have it towed to a GM dealership. Firestone is where you take your truck to get tires not your Cobalt to get work done. Might as well have taken it to Walmart.

Man how I was thinking the same thing.

Dealership or someone with some knowledge. They don't know what they are doing if they don't know where the fuel pump is. Probably make their head pop when they find out that your car has two.

The hpfp is easy to get but the in tank is on national back order. That will be a LOOOOOONG wait.
