AKA "winterized" gas. All gas stations switch to that blend during the winter, thats why gas mileage drops for most cars during the winter.

look up top tier gas companies, i only use shell. i have a 2.2 and i put in premium why not!

Because you aren't doing anything for your engine other than spending more money than you have to by getting premium?

eh its only like what 2 bucks more every time i fill up! it does help though there is less carbon when you run premium gas.

Only difference between the low gas and the premium is the octane rating - thats it. Premium burns slower, which can mean on an engine not designed for it, you can end up with incomplete combustion, which in turn would mean MORE carbon, not less.

Oxygenated fuels are those that contain 10% ethanol to reduce emissions. That's all there is around me. THey used to have to label it as such, but I haven't seen anything marked at the pump in some time.

Winter blends are modified for increased cold starting ability. They actually blend in Propane.

i'm only putting like 10 bucks of gas in my car at a time from the different gas stations in my area... so far they all seem the same except shell....
