Is this car an LNF? Do you have proof? ie Dyno charts? Not saying its not possible, everyones setup is different. If your are lnf you are on a different turbo then factory obviously, so that may play a roll in the gains from airbox mod to a full intake. You also just said silicone coupler but no name as to what company it was.

Yes an LNF and yes I have dyno proof.... I also have logs showing the differences in top end flow vs a drop in.

I'm not trying to start a war here... but there is a difference stock turbo or bigger turbo!

You might want to do some reading on long term results. So far what I know is that the Hahn charge pipes don't fit for **** and there have been a few people that have had their hoods dented from the inside. There is also 2 threads on here about end tanks blowing apart on their intercoolers. Their quality is easily beaten by every other vendor on this site, so we don't even need to get into how over priced their products are.

I have the K&N SRI and the fitment, quality, looks and performance are top notch. The only Intake I would put ahead of it is BYT's as far an performance.

As far as IAT temps, mine never exceed the outside air temp, so don't give me any crap about the filter sucking heat from under the hood....

Cool, can you post up a dyno graph? or a log? The only war i want to start is the war for more power lol. But i need visual /documented proof.

Good question - do they even make them anymore? I got one of the first batch (that had issues with the silicone elbows) but love the look!

I used to think so too.. Until after I owned a Hahn catback, hahn charge piping, hahn intercooler.. etc. Catback that never fit right (I still have issues with it), Charge piping that hit my hood that I could never get to fit right, recommendations from their support that their worm clamps would hold fine (hah. learned my lesson there.). Knock on wood I have not had issues with the intercooler other than having to trim the bumper to get it to fit right.

I wont get into the price for the headache of those parts.

Amen. You can add me to the list of dented hoods, the pipes arent rolled (IIRC) and they "recommend" using their worm clamps. I eventually ripped the pipes out from under my hood and am running stock - thats how fed up I got with them.

I have the Hahn intake and exhaust. I think pretty highly of both. The only other intake I'd rather have is the v2 AEM, until I see some results from BYT's.

so K&N or BYT's intake? I mean I would rather go with K&N if it only makes a slight difference in horsepower.

wtf does that have to do with staying legal in cali? lol a tune and charge pipes arent illegal but an intake has to be CARB legal for you to smog it and if you get pulled over

You most likely will not pass emissions with a tune and if a cop pulls you over and sees a chrome charging pipe he will likely ask for a smog check. Correct me if I am wrong.

I put down 390whp sae with our silicone intake tube with K&N and airbox mod on the stock turbo. It also took it well past 500whp on the EFR turbo.

I appologize... their pipes and intercooler are junk. I was more quoting for the catback and intake! They are both fantastic.... albeit pricy and the exhaust clunks (I had mine redone so it didn't hit anymore)

I'm sort of a noob, but is the K&N SRI the same as the K&N Typhoon or different?

It's similar, to a Typhoon intake... just isn't as pretty.
