I have the K&N SRI and the fitment, quality, looks and performance are top notch. The only Intake I would put ahead of it is BYT's as far an performance.

As far as IAT temps, mine never exceed the outside air temp, so don't give me any crap about the filter sucking heat from under the hood....

Post up a log of your IAT1s in 90+* heat... and I will show you mine... And if you are to blind to see the difference in heat... then well you just solely can't be helped.

Reading... on results.... I have been part of SAID results since these cars came out... so dont' give me any CRAP about reading....

I guess so. I'm not quite able to find anything comparing the two though.

No...........it's not. Holes in IC endtanks, rusty/flaking intake internals, and chargepipes with no block-mounts? Bah. They can sit and spin.

Alot of talk until we see visual proof, ie back to back dyno or track times. From all the results i have seen there is still no reason to purchase a 260 dollar or more (hahn) intake over the cheap do it your self Airbox mod +drop in and zzp inake tube...

Your idea of a "Fantastic" exhaust is one that had to be modified to fit your car so that it didn't bang.... Your credibility on rating parts in now 0

I'll get back to you on the logs when it gets to be more than 75* here

Are you for real? You just made a recommendation on a part, and admitted that you didn't even know it exists, all in the same sentence.... So what are you basing your opinion on?

There is only one K&N intake system for the LNF guys. It's called a couple different things depending where you see it. But it's all the same thing.

Had to be modified for a heavily lowered car... wow dude. I honestly could careless really what your feelings are on my credibility...

But for those that actually come to me for advice (which there are QUITE a few, as I have tuned over 75 cobalts around the country maybe even more)... I do know a thing or 2 about these cars and the platforms in general.

Cold airs will always yield cooler IATs... they almost always show an increase in top end responce. Not that the SRI won't do that... but I know GMtunersource did a dyno study on 3 intakes... on a GMS1 car and the HAHN showed a 23whp difference while the others were between 10-15whp.

Thats not me... thats an outside source. Tuning wise the HAHN seems to be the most stable. I know a buddy of mine has the K&N and his tuned out pretty easily to. SO on that note they are pretty comprable.

Any other questions feel free to ask. But MY HAHN parts, have been fantastic. And I will repeat, anything other than pedders your exhaust will hit the twisting beam, it's easily modified by changing the angle of the over axle portion.... My HAHN intake has performed flawlessly! I can't speak of the rest as I do not and have not ever owned them... their charge pipes hit on some cars, and their intercoolers pop welds, but so does synapse's i/c's as I went through 2 of them... I don't say theya re a bad company because their turbo manifold is ******* beautiful! And works FLAWLESSLY!

A couple corrections-
The ZZP silicone coupler is more "stable" than the Hahn intake.
ZZP catbacks do not hit on the rear beam.

I have tuned a ZZP coupler and of course it is LOL it's using the stock airbox... I havent' had nor used a ZZP catback so I cannot report on them.
